Ever since Dad moved to Pennybyrn we have all been very pleased with our decision. One of the most important things to him is the delicious food! Joe and I agree and have enjoyed several wonderful meals with Dad at the Pub. What is very important to us is the wonderful quality of care he receives. What a blessing to have people like Gabby who not only care for Dad, but have endless patience and kindness in dealing with seniors with memory issues. We are so grateful! A special thanks to you, Sara, for getting Dad books on tape since he can’t see well enough to read because of macular degeneration. He also enjoys time with a special buddy who you found for him. Dad really enjoys the activities: bingo and other games, outings for ice cream, to see Christmas lights and a picnic at the City Lake Park, music programs and sing alongs and chapel almost every day. The quality of his care is evident to people who haven’t seen him in a while. Everyone comments on how healthy he looks!
Dad told us on the day his wife of 63 years died that he wanted to move to Pennybyrn. We all know that was the very best decision.
